Wife of Edgar Ralph, Florence Rosetta was a concert pianist and mother of four. Her eldest son Ralph became a film animator and worked on 'The Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines' and 'Watership Down'.

Florence, my grandmother who I never knew, lived in Middlesborough (North East England). She died at the age of 46 leaving a young family including my father aged 10.
